Reuben and Steve both do single acts, and when they met it just seemed natural to do a duo. So Lizards in Paradise was born Featuring Reuben “Lounge Lizard” Morgan and Stephen Hutter the Lizard apprentice, ‘Lizards’ has double guitars plus sax and strong vocals and an extremely varied song list.

Sometimes there are situations that call for the sound of a full band but lack the space for one or simply can’t afford one. For those places Lizards in Paradise is the perfect solution. Using sequences to take the place of drums and bass; they use two actual guitar players to fill in and create a ‘live’ feel that sounds very close to a full band. They even use a full bands’ worth of equipment in larger rooms complete with a full size P.A. so there’s no lack of bass impact to get people up and dancing.

But they’re not limited to dance crowds. They have a large song list and the appropriate equipment to play absolutely anything, from quiet instrumental background functions to full-fledged rock and roll. They can bring small enough gear to set-up in a corner of the living room and play soft jazz all night, or bring the big stuff out to get everyone in a partying mood and anywhere in between.
